Summary:To provide a method for suppressing yellowing of thermoplastic resin.SOLUTION: Polysilane is blended with a thermoplastic resin to suppress yellowing of the thermoplastic resin. The polysilane has a weight average molecular weight of, for example, 400 to 50000. The polysilane may be a chain polyalkylaryl silane and/or a cyclic polydiaryl silane. The thermoplastic resin is, for example, at least one selected from the group consisting of an olefin-based resin, a polyester-based resin, and a polycarbonate-based resin. The weight ratio of the thermoplastic resin and the polysilane is the former/the latter=99.95/0.05 to 90/10.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】熱可塑性樹脂の黄変抑制する方法を提供する。【解決手段】ポリシランを熱可塑性樹脂に配合して、熱可塑性樹脂の黄変を抑制する。前記ポリシランの重量平均分子量は、例えば４００〜５００００である。前記ポリシランは、鎖状ポリアルキルアリールシランおよび／または環状ポリジアリールシランであってもよい。前記熱可塑性樹脂は、例えば、オレフィン系樹脂、ポリエステル系樹脂およびポリカーボネート系樹脂からなる群より選択された少なくとも１種である。前記熱可塑性樹脂と前記ポリシランの重量割合は、前者／後者＝９９．９５／０．０５〜９０／１０である。【選択図】なし
