Summary:To provide a heat insulation material that is applied to an outside surface of a cylindrical duct having a flow passage therein and has a thin structure, high fire resistance and high insulation performance as well as high strength and durability.SOLUTION: A heat insulation material 1 is composed of a laminated substrate 10 made by laminating a first layer 110 made of titanium oxide/silicon dioxide based powder, a second layer 12 arranged on the inner side surface of the first layer and made of glass fiber cloth, and a third layer 13 facing the outer side surface of the first layer and made of glass fiber cloth. The heat insulation material 1 further includes a surface material 20 arranged outside the third layer 13 in the substrate 10 and made of aluminum alloy foil lined with glass fiber cloth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】内部に流路を有する筒状のダクトの外表面に適用される断熱材であって、薄型化した構造であり、かつ、高耐火性及び高断熱性を有し、さらに、強度と耐久性の高い断熱材を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の断熱材1は、酸化チタン・二酸化けい素系粉からなる第一の層110、第一の層の内側に面しガラス繊維クロスからなる第二の層12、及び、第一の層の外側に面しガラス繊維クロスからなる第三の層13を積層した基材10からなる。さらに、本発明の断熱材1は、基材10における第三層13の外側に、ガラス繊維クロス裏張りアルミニウム合金はくからなる表面材20を備える。【選択図】図1
