Summary:To provide an image reading apparatus and an image reading program, capable of improving the convenience when performing scanning operation with a shortcut including a reading setting value set on the side of image reading apparatus.SOLUTION: According to the embodiment, in the case where start information showing a setting that a specified application is started is not stored to a storage section, a reading setting value included in selected shortcut information is not displayed. Therefore, a scanning operation corresponding to the reading setting value different from the displayed reading setting value is performed, and, thus, it is suppressed that a different scanning result which the user intends is obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】画像読取装置側で設定された読取設定値を含むショートカットを用いてスキャン動作を実行する場合に、その利便性が向上された画像読取装置および画像読取プログラムを提供すること。【解決手段】本発明によれば、特定のアプリケーションが起動する設定であることを示す起動情報が記憶部に記憶されていない場合には、選択されたショートカット情報に含まれる読取設定値が表示されないので、表示された読取設定値とは異なる読取設定値に従うスキャン動作が実行され、それにより、ユーザが意図するスキャン結果とは異なるスキャン結果が得られることを抑制できる。【選択図】図４
