To provide a communication system, a communication module, terminal equipment, a communication method, and a communication program with high convenience.SOLUTION: A communication system 1 comprises terminal equipment 20 and a communication module 10. The terminal equipment 20 and communication module 10 are connected by a first interface that inputs/outputs a signal based on a clock. The terminal equipment 20 outputs a break signal to the communication module 10 through the first interface. The communication module 10 shifts a port 12 on the module side of the first interface to a break state on the basis of the break signal.
