Summary:To prevent, in a magnetic sensor including three detection units detecting components in three directions of an external magnetic field, a situation in which due to a soft magnetic structure included in one detection unit, the characteristics of outputs from the other two detection units become different.SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor 1 comprises first to third detection units 10, 20, 30 detecting components in an X-direction, a Y-direction, and a Z-direction of an external magnetic field. The third detection unit 30 includes a soft magnetic structure. The first detection unit 10 includes first and second portions 11, 12. The second detection unit 20 includes third and fourth portions 21, 22. The first portion 11 and fourth portion 22 are located on both sides of the third detection unit 30 in the X-direction.
