To provide a disposable diaper which does not lose shape during manufacturing and is capable of restraining fastening members from detaching from the diaper body even when the wearer uses a heating appliance, and also to provide a method of manufacturing such a disposable diaper.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper according to the present invention comprises: a diaper body having an absorbent core; left and right fastening members respectively joined to both side edges of a rear part of the diaper body, and outwardly extending in a width direction from the diaper body; first fixing members respectively provided on skin surface sides of the left and right fastening members; and second fixing members which are provided on an outer surface side of a front part of the diaper body, and to which the first fixing members are detachably fastened.
