Summary: | To suppress a load due to drive transmitted from a container gear while making the delivery performance of powder from a powder storage container to a powder conveyance device excellent.SOLUTION: A powder storage container is attached with a powder storage container 32 storing powder for image formation, and includes: a powder reception port which receives powder from the powder storage container; a body-side gear which transmits driving force to the powder storage container 32; a container reception part; an opening 33a which is provided on one end of the container body 33 storing the powder for the image formation; a conveyance tube reception member 330 which is arranged in an opening and can receive a conveyance tube; conveyance means; and a container-side gear 306 which is provided in the vicinity of the opening and can drive the conveyance means by being engaged with the body-side gear. The container-side gear 306 is arranged so as to be engaged with the body-side gear at an opening 33a side in a longitudinal direction of the container body with respect to the powder reception port.
