To provide a work management system and a component management system capable of improving efficiency of initial setup work by an operator, by restraining deviation of the load of initial setup work of each operator.SOLUTION: A work management system 3 includes a work number identification 357 and a work space setting part 358. The work number identification 357 identifies the work number of initial setup work at work positions WP1, WP2 set in each mounting machine 20 of multiple component mounting lines 2A, 2B, 2C, and outputs work number identification information JH3 representative of the identification results. The work space setting part 358 partitions a work management object area AR01 into multiple work areas AR11, AR12, AR13, on the basis of the operator number information and the work number identification information JH3. The work space setting part 358 sets the number of work areas AR11, AR12, AR13 equal to the number of operators, and adjusts the ranges of the work areas AR11, AR12, AR13 on the basis of the work number identification information JH3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】作業者ごとの段取り作業の負荷の偏りを抑制し、作業者による段取り作業の効率化を図ることが可能な作業管理システム及び部品実装システムを提供する。【解決手段】作業管理システム３は、作業数特定部３５７及び作業領域設定部３５８を備えている。作業数特定部３５７は、複数の部品実装ライン２Ａ，２Ｂ，２Ｃの各実装機２０に設定された作業位置ＷＰ１，ＷＰ２での段取り作業の作業数を特定し、その特定結果を表す作業数特定情報ＪＨ３を出力する。作業領域設定部３５８は、作業者数情報と前記作業数特定情報ＪＨ３に基づき、作業管理対象領域ＡＲ０１を複数の作業領域ＡＲ１１，ＡＲ１２，ＡＲ１３に区画する。作業領域設定部３５８は、作業領域ＡＲ１１，ＡＲ１２，ＡＲ１３の数を作業者数と同数に設定し、各作業領域ＡＲ１１，ＡＲ１２，ＡＲ１３の範囲を前記作業数特定情報ＪＨ３に基づき調整する。【選択図】図７
