Summary: | To provide a binder composition of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which contains a vinylidene fluoride polymer and which can further increase the adhesion strength of an electrode mixture layer to a surface of a current collector.SOLUTION: A binder composition of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a vinylidene fluoride copolymer for a binder of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which has: a first constituting unit originating from vinylidene fluoride; and a second constituting unit having an isocyanate group or a structure that produces an isocyanate group when heated at 200°C for one hour. The binder composition can be used for a mixture to manufacture an electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, an electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.SELECTED DRAWING: None
