To provide a box body that restrains heat from entering an interior space from the vicinity of an opening part and improves heat insulation performance.SOLUTION: A box body according to the present disclosure is a box body comprising an opening part, and comprises an outer box, an inner box arranged inside the outer box, and a connecting body for connecting the outer box and the inner box. The outer box comprises an outer box flange part formed by bending an opening end in an inner box direction. The inner box comprises an inner box flange part formed by bending an opening end in an outer box direction. The outer box flange part comprises an outer box bend part formed by bending an end part in a direction opposite to the opening part. The inner box flange part comprises an inner box bend part formed by bending an end part in the direction opposite to the opening part. The connecting body comprises a first groove part, and a second groove part formed in a side surface with respect to a surface in which the first groove part is formed.
