Summary: | To prevent damage of an oil seal.SOLUTION: A shock absorber 10 includes: a bearing unit 140 having a bush 142 and a rod guide 141; and an oil seal unit 130 having an oil seal 132 and a seal housing 131. In the rod guide 141, a communication passage 146 for guiding a hydraulic oil in an extension side chamber 61 to an oil chamber 151 is provided. The seal housing 131 includes: a seal storage recess 134 where the oil seal 132 is stored; and an insertion hole 138 in which a piston rod 3 is inserted. The oil seal 132 is pressed against an outer peripheral surface of the piston rod 3 and the seal storage recess 134 by the hydraulic oil pressure of the extension side chamber 61 guided to the oil chamber 151. The bush 142 is provided so that an upper end surface 142a of the bush 142 opposing to the oil seal 132 coincides with an upper part opening surface 160a of a through-hole 160 of the rod guide 141.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】オイルシールの損傷を防止する。【解決手段】ショックアブソーバ10は、ブッシュ142及びロッドガイド141を有する軸受ユニット140と、オイルシール132及びシールハウジング131を有するオイルシールユニット130と、を備え、ロッドガイド141には、伸側室61の作動油を油室151に導く連通路146が設けられ、シールハウジング131は、オイルシール132が収容されるシール収容凹部134と、ピストンロッド3が挿通される挿通孔138と、を有し、オイルシール132は、油室151に導かれる伸側室61の作動油圧により、ピストンロッド3の外周面及びシール収容凹部134に押し付けられ、ブッシュ142は、オイルシール132に対向するブッシュ142の上端面142aがロッドガイド141の貫通孔160の上部開口面160aに一致するように設けられる。【選択図】図3 |
