Summary:To provide a fine particle sintering device for producing a sintered body in which contamination by impurities is extremely few, and to provide a fine particle sintering method using the device.SOLUTION: There is provided a fine particle sintering method for obtaining a sintered body (9) by heat compression of a compact (3) using the rolls (7a, 7b). The method is characterized in that rolls in which the coating layers (6) having the same material as the compact (3) are formed thereon are used as the rolls (7a, 7b), and the surface temperature of the compact (3) immediately before conveyance between the rolls (7a, 7b) is controlled to 600°C higher than that (550°C) of the coating layer (6) or about the same (550°C to less than 600°C). Thereby, the contact of the compact with a portion becoming an impurity contamination source at heat compression is eliminated to enable obtaining of the sintered body (9) extremely few in contamination by impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】不純物の混入が極めて少ない焼結体を提供する粉体焼結装置及びそれと用いた粉体焼結方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の粉体焼結方法は、ロール(7a,7b)によって成形体(3)を加熱圧縮して焼結体(9)を得る粉体焼結方法であって、ロール(7a,7b)として、成形体(3)と同じ材質のコーティング層(6)を表面に形成したものを使用し、ロール(7a,7b)に搬入される直前の成形体(3)の表面温度を、コーティング層(6)の温度(550℃)に比べ高い(600℃)あるいは略同じ(550℃〜600℃未満)に調節することを特徴とする。これによって、加熱圧縮時に不純物混入源となる部分との接触を無くし、不純物混入が極めて少ない焼結体(9)を得ることができる。【選択図】図1
