Summary:To provide a conveyance device capable of detecting a positional deviation of a sheet without providing a dedicated detection mechanism.SOLUTION: A conveyance device for conveying paper P is provided with: a first holding roller 31 and a second holding roller 32 which are aligned in a width direction of the paper P for conveying the paper P; a first motor for driving the first holding roller; a second motor for driving the second holding roller; a first motor encoder and a second encoder capable of detecting rotational speeds of the first holding roller and the second holding roller; and a control part capable of recognizing drive loads of the first motor and the second motor.
