Summary:To provide a mood disorder measurement device and a mood disorder measurement method enabling mood disorder to be quantitatively and easily measured at a medical site.SOLUTION: The mood disorder measurement device comprises: brain potential signal acquisition means acquiring a brain potential signal measured at a plurality of different portions using a plurality of potential sensors arranged on a head of a subject; first power value calculation means which performs frequency analyzation on the acquired brain potential signal to thereby calculate a total power value of a predetermined first frequency band at a prescribed one portion out of the plurality of portions, and a total power value of a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band on other prescribed one portion out of the plurality of portions; and first calculation means calculating a ratio of a difference of the total power value in the first frequency band and the total power value in the second frequency band, to the total power value of the first and second frequency bands, as an index for determining a mood disorder of the subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】医療現場において気分障害を定量的かつ簡易に測定することが可能な気分障害測定装置および方法を提供する。【解決手段】気分障害測定装置は、被験者の頭部上に配置された複数の電位センサを用いて異なる複数の部位で測定された脳電位信号を取得する脳電位信号取得手段と、取得された脳電位信号を周波数解析することにより、複数の部位のうち所定の一つの部位での予め決められた第1の周波数帯域の総パワー値と、複数の部位のうち他の所定の一つの部位での予め決められた、第1の周波数帯域よりも低い第2の周波数帯域の総パワー値とをそれぞれ算出する第1のパワー値算出手段と、第1の周波数帯域の総パワー値と第2の周波数帯域の総パワー値との差分の、第1の周波数帯域および第2の周波数帯域の総パワー値に対する比率を被験者の気分障害を判断するための指標として算出する第1の演算手段と、を備える。【選択図】図1
