To provide a reel attachment structure capable of extremely firmly attaching a reel to a fishing rod, and a fishing rod comprising the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a reel attachment structure for attaching a reel 50 to a fishing rod, comprising: a reel seat part 1 comprising a fitting recess 1B which is opened to a peripheral surface of a butt 10 and a bolt passage hole 1C penetrating from a bottom face of the fitting recess 1B to an opposite peripheral surface; a reel bracket 2 comprising an attachment plate 2A having a reel mount surface 2A2 for fixing the reel 50, a fitting salient 2B protruding from an opposite side surface 2A1 of the reel mount surface 2A2 and formed into a shape so as to fit the fitting recess 1B and a bolt screw hole 2C opened to an end face of the fitting salient 2B; and a bracket fixing bolt 3 which can be screwed to the bolt screw hole 2C of the reel bracket 2 through the bolt passage hole 1C of the reel seat part 1 in a state in which the fitting salient 2B of the reel bracket 2 is fitted to the fitting recess 1B of the reel seat part 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】リールを釣竿に極めて強固に取り付けることができるリール取付構造及びこれを備えた釣竿を提供する。【解決手段】釣竿にリール５０を取り付けるためのリール取付構造であって、バット１０の周面に開口する嵌合凹部１Ｂと、嵌合凹部１Ｂの底面から反対周面まで貫通するボルト通し孔１Ｃとを有するリールシート部１と、リール５０を固定するリール載置面２Ａ２を具備する取付プレート２Ａと、リール載置面２Ａ２の反対側の面２Ａ１から突出しかつ嵌合凹部１Ｂに嵌合可能な形状をもつ嵌合凸部２Ｂと、嵌合凸部２Ｂの端面に開口するボルト螺子穴２Ｃとを有するリールブラケット２と、リールシート部１の嵌合凹部１Ｂに対しリールブラケット２の嵌合凸部２Ｂが嵌合した状態にて、リールシート部１のボルト通し孔１Ｃを通してリールブラケット２のボルト螺子穴２Ｃに螺合可能なブラケット固定ボルト３と、を備える。【選択図】図１
