Summary:To provide a roll material container which is not likely to be broken when a roll material is drawn from an opening portion, and in which can be easily produced.SOLUTION: A roll material container 1 is formed into a box shape by paperboard 40 having a multilayer structure, and has a container body 10 capable of storing a roll material 20 where a long thin material P is wound in a roll shape. The container body 10 has an opening portion 30 which penetrates the paperboard 40 in a top wall 12 thereof. The opening portion 30 is an opening portion that the thin material P of the roll material 20 is drawn out from the container body 10.
