Summary:To provide a plant growth system and a plant growth method capable of preferably growing a plant at low cost.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation facility 10 comprises a cultivation bed 50 on which a Wasabia japonica W1 is planted. The cultivation bed 50 comprises a retention part 51 in which, a culture medium storage part 55 is fixed. A side part and a bottom part of the culture medium storage part 55 comprise a plurality of open holes formed thereon. A discharge hole 31a of a supply pipe 31 is positioned above the culture medium storage part 55. A position of the discharge hole 31a of the supply pipe 31 or a planting position of the Wasabia japonica W1 is adjusted so that a culture fluid from the discharge hole 31a is supplied to a rhizome R1 of the Wasabia japonica W1.
