To provide a cushioning material for a columnar product which can be made small when not used and can handle a columnar product safely without causing dust particles to adhere or damage to the columnar product when used in use.SOLUTION: A cushioning material for a columnar product is composed of a substrate formed in a bag shape by two film sheets each of which is thermally welded around its periphery. A large number of parallel partition welding parts 2f are formed on the substrate so that a sealing bag part 7 is formed in a shape of uneven shape when air is filled. And, a check valve sheet having a check valve 31 for allowing the inflow of air to each sealing bag part 7 continuously formed by the partition welding part 2f is interposed between the two film sheets to be welded, when air is introduced from an air supply port 5, a space part capable of accommodating a columnar product is formed between the opposed recessed parts of the respective sealing bag parts 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】不使用時には、小さくすることができると共に、使用時には、柱状製品にゴミが付着したり損傷させることなく、安全に柱状製品を取り扱うことが可能な柱状製品用緩衝材を提供する。【解決手段】柱状製品用緩衝材は、周囲が熱溶着された２枚のフィルムシートによって袋状に形成される基体から構成される。基体には、空気が充填された際、密封袋部７が凹凸状となって連続的に形成されるように、多数本の平行な区画溶着部２ｆが形成されている。そして、２枚のフィルムシート間には、区画溶着部２ｆによって連続的に形成される各密封袋部７に対して空気の流入を許容する逆止弁３１を具備した逆止弁シートが介在して溶着されており、空気供給口５から空気が導入されると、各密封袋部７の向かい合った凹部間に柱状製品が収容可能な空間部が形成される。【選択図】 図１
