Summary:To prevent the breakage of cast strips coiled into a coil shape in a cooling step and to attain the improvement of a yield and the reduction of a production cost.SOLUTION: Continuously casting equipment comprises: a twin drum type continuous casting device forming a molten metal storage part by a pair of cooling drums and a side weir and casting a molten metal stored in the molten metal storage part while rotating the pair of cooling drums; a rolling device arranged on the downstream side in the casting direction of the twin drum type continuous casting device and rolling the cast strips a coiling device arranged at the downstream side in the casting direction of the twin drum type continuous casting device and rolling the cast strips; a coiling device arranged on the downstream side in the rolling direction of the rolling device and coiling the rolled cast strips into a coil shape; and an inclusion feed device, upon coiling the cast strips by the coiling device, feeding inclusions in such a manner that a substance is included between the cast strips coiled into a coil shape. In the inclusion included between the cast strips, disappears or the thickness of the inclusion in a coil diameter direction reduces when the temperature between the cast strips is higher than the ordinary temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】コイル状に巻取られた鋳造ストリップが、冷却過程において破断することを防止し、歩留り向上、更には製造コストの低減を可能とする。【解決手段】一対の冷却ドラムとサイド堰とによって金属溶湯貯留部を形成し、一対の冷却ドラムを回転させながら金属溶湯貯留部に貯留された金属溶湯を鋳造する双ドラム式連続鋳造装置と、双ドラム式連続鋳造装置の鋳造方向下流側に配置され、鋳造された鋳造ストリップを圧延する圧延装置と、圧延装置の圧延方向下流側に配置され、圧延された鋳造ストリップをコイル状に巻取る巻取装置と、巻取装置により、鋳造ストリップを巻取る際に、コイル状に巻取られた鋳造ストリップの間に物質が介在するように介在物を供給する介在物供給装置と、を備え、鋳造ストリップ間に介在する介在物は、鋳造ストリップ間の温度が常温よりも高温であるときに、消失またはコイル径方向の介在物の厚みが減少する、連続鋳造設備を提供する。【選択図】図3
