To provide a reproduction device capable of providing a user with information on setting change to a specific luminance range.SOLUTION: A reproduction device 4 includes: a communication unit 26 for communicating with a display device 6; and a control unit 37 for acquiring setting information indicating current setting contents of a luminance range of the display device 6 from the display device 6 via the communication unit 26.
