Summary:To provide a manufacturing method for a motor capable of improving sealability between a first housing and a second housing.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a motor provided with a housing comprising a first housing, and a second housing fixed to the first housing by bringing an edge portion of a second opening into contact with an edge portion of a first opening 21a, comprises: a liquid gasket part formation step of forming a liquid gasket part arranged in at least a part of a portion including the edge portion of the first opening 21a by coating a liquid gasket; and an attachment step of attaching the second housing onto the first housing by causing the edge portion of the first opening 21a and the edge portion of the second opening to bring into contact with each other via the liquid gasket part. The liquid gasket part has a shape where a part of an annular shape in a circumferential direction is partitioned via an air gap portion.
