Summary:To suppress, by a simple structure, the occurrence of a swirl of high temperature resin circuiting near the middle portion of a die nozzle and eliminate temperature unevenness in the longitudinal nozzle direction of a resin supplied to a die nozzle, and thereby prevent the thickness of a resin in the middle portion of an optical fiber ribbon from becoming thick.SOLUTION: A coating device 200 comprises: a die 10 in the middle portion of which is formed a nozzle 11 which a plurality of optical fiber ribbons arrayed along one plane pass through; a nipple 20 having an underside 23 that forms a resin reservoir, to which a coating resin is supplied, between the top face of the die 10 and itself, with an insertion hole 22 formed at the middle portion of the underside 23; and a die holder for holding the die 10 and the nipple 20, with a space therebetween, so that the nozzle 11 and the insertion hole 22 form a coaxial state.
