Summary: | To detect a state of a chargeable battery at a sufficient frequency.SOLUTION: A chargeable battery state detecting device has: determination means (CPU 10a) which determines whether a chargeable battery is in a discharging state; measurement means (voltage sensor 11 and current sensor 12) which measures, when the determination means determines that the chargeable battery is being discharged, values of a current flowing in the chargeable battery and a terminal voltage thereof a plurality of times; calculation means (CPU 10a) which calculates, from the values of the current and terminal voltage measured by the measurement means, values of internal resistance of the chargeable battery at respective measurement timings; specification means (CPU 10a) which fits the values of internal resistance at the respective measurement timings calculated by the calculation means as a function including the current as an input variable, and specifies the internal resistance as a function including the current as an input variable; and detection means (CPU 10a) which detects the state of the chargeable battery based upon the function specified by the specification means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
