To provide a surveying device capable of improving work efficiency of advance preparation before surveying.SOLUTION: A surveying device 3 for a tracking survey with a prism attached to a camera of a movement imaging apparatus, as a surveying object, comprises a light wave distance meter 33 for measuring distance to the surveying object, a horizontal angle detection section 41 and a vertical angle detection section 42 for measuring angles, a main body part for supporting them, a time acquisition section 47 for acquiring GPS time from a GPS satellite, a tilt sensor 48 for detecting a posture of the main body part, a correction section 49 for correcting the tilt sensor 48, and a surveying control section 40 for causing the correction section 49 to execute correction during a period in which the time acquisition section 47 is acquiring the GPS time, as advance preparation before surveying.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】測量前の事前準備の作業効率を向上させることのできる測量装置を提供すること。【解決手段】移動撮影装置のカメラに取り付けられたプリズムを測量対象として追尾測量する測量装置３において、測量対象までの距離を測定する光波距離計３３、角度を測定する水平角検出部４１及び鉛直角検出部４２と、これらを支持する本体部と、ＧＰＳ衛星からＧＰＳ時刻を取得する時刻取得部４７と、本体部の姿勢を検出するチルトセンサ４８と、チルトセンサ４８の校正を行う校正部４９と、測定前の事前準備として、時刻取得部４７によりＧＰＳ時刻を取得している期間中に、校正部４９による校正を実行させる測量制御部４０と、を備える。【選択図】図２
