Summary:To provide a liquid holding container which inhibits leakage of a liquid from an interior even in an inclined state.SOLUTION: A liquid holding container 9 has: an absorber 60 capable of absorbing a liquid; an upper surface part 10; and a bottom surface part 67 facing the upper surface part 10 and can house the absorber 60. An opening 12 for introducing the liquid into the absorber 60 is provided at the upper surface part 10.
