Summary: | To provide a cylindrical preform that allows manufacturing of a medical liquid storage container body of which an expanded flat cylindrical portion formed by blow molding has a substantially uniform wall thickness all around the circumference.SOLUTION: A cylindrical preform 1 is for manufacturing, by biaxially stretching blow molding, a medical liquid storage container body 10 which has a discharge portion 21 and an expanded flat cylindrical portion 20 closed at its top end. The preform 1 comprises a closed top end 6, a bottom end 4 forming the discharge portion 21, and a cylindrical main body portion 3 linking the top end and the bottom end. The cylindrical main body portion 3 has a cylindrical portion 31 with an axially orthogonal cross section having a substantially perfect circular outer edge. Formed in the inside of the cylindrical portion are: two opposing thicker wall portions 31a, 31b extending in a predetermined major axial direction; and two opposing thinner wall portions 31c, 31d formed between the two thicker wall portions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
