Summary:To provide a thick magnetic particle dispersion for wet magnetic particle flaw detection test, used when preparing an inspection liquid used for wet magnetic particle flaw detection test in the manufacturing line of a steel component maker or a steel material maker without including an anion active agent during the preparation and adversely affect an object to be inspected by sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P).SOLUTION: The thick magnetic particle dispersion for wet magnetic particle flaw detection test is obtained by dispersing 10-20 wt.% of magnetic particles for wet magnetic particle flaw detection test in water using 5-15 wt.% of a polyoxyalkylene polystyrylphenyl ether type non-ion based surfactant having a HLB value of 10-12 and an average molecular weight of 750-950 as a dispersant. After the dispersion is stood for 90 days at a solution temperature of 40°C, the magnetic particles are dispersed without settling down or precipitating.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】鋼製部品メーカーや鉄鋼材メーカーの製造ラインにおける湿式磁粉探傷試験の実施に使用されている検査液の調製に当って用いる濃厚磁粉分散液であって、その処方中に陰イオン活性剤を含まないので硫黄(S)や燐(P)による被検査物に悪影響を及ぼさない湿式磁粉探傷試験用濃厚磁粉分散液を提供する。【解決手段】HLB値10〜12で平均分子量750〜950のポリオキシアルキレンポリスチリルフェニルエーテル型非イオン系界面活性剤5〜15重量%を分散剤として湿式磁粉探傷試験用磁粉10〜20重量%を水に分散させてなり、当該分散液を液温40℃で90日静置後に当該磁粉が沈降・沈殿せずに分散している湿式磁粉探傷試験用濃厚磁粉分散液。【選択図】 なし
