To provide a steam flow passage selector device for use in changing-over the steam flow passage by rotating an impeller under utilization of steam flow sent from a boiler for melting snow and converting this rotating energy into electrical energy.SOLUTION: This invention provides a power force generating device 10 for a selector valve characterized in that the same is comprised of a steam uptake port 20 connected to a snow melting roof panel; a steam supply passage 30 for use in taking steam from the steam uptake port 20 to an impeller 40; the impeller 40 of which blades are rotated by steam taken from the steam uptake port 20 to the steam supply passage 30; and an energy transmitting shaft 50 installed at a position of the rotating shaft of the impeller 40 in such a way that the shaft passes through the impeller 40 at a right angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】融雪のためにボイラーから送られてくる水蒸気の流れを利用してインペラーを回転させ、この回転エネルギーを電気エネルギーに転換することで水蒸気の流路を切り替える水蒸気流路切り替え装置を提供すること。【解決手段】融雪屋根パネルと連結する水蒸気取り込み口２０と、水蒸気取り込み口２０からインペラー４０に水蒸気を取り込むための水蒸気供給路３０と、水蒸気供給路３０に水蒸気取り込み口２０から取り入れた水蒸気により羽根が回るように設置したインペラー４０と、インペラー４０の回転中心軸の位置にインペラー４０を垂直に貫くように設置されたエネルギー伝達軸５０を備えることを特徴とする切り替え弁用動力発生装置１０とした。【選択図】図１
