Summary:To provide a method for easily producing a plaster-based fluorescent material formed of calcium sulfate or calcium sulfide by using as a raw material, a shell or a plaster board.SOLUTION: The production method comprises: a step for mixing a sulfuric acid aqueous solution with a prescribed additive including an element being a luminescence center; a step for adding a shell to the sulfuric acid aqueous solution to which the additive is added, for crystallizing gypsum dihydrate, and then precipitating the gypsum dihydrate; a step for separating and drying the precipitated material; and a step for burning the material dried in a reduction atmosphere in a temperature of 850°C or greater and 1000°C or smaller. Therefore, compared with a case in which, a plurality of agents with high purity are used for production, a plaster-based fluorescent material with high fluorescent performance can be easily produced. In addition, a shell to be discarded is used as a raw material, waste can be efficiently utilized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】貝殻または石膏ボードを原料として用いて、硫酸カルシウムまたは硫化カルシウムからなる石膏系蛍光材を簡便に作製できる方法を提供する。【解決手段】硫酸水溶液に発光中心となる元素を含む所定の添加材を添加し混合する工程と、前記添加材が混合された硫酸水溶液に貝殻を添加し、二水石膏を析出させ、沈殿させる工程と、前記沈殿した材料を分離、乾燥させる工程と、前記乾燥した材料を還元雰囲気、850℃以上1000℃以下の温度で焼成する工程と、を含む。これにより、複数の高純度の試薬を用いて作製する場合に比べて、蛍光性能の高い石膏系蛍光材を簡便に作製することができる。また、原材料に廃棄される貝殻を使用できることから、廃棄物を有効利用できる。【選択図】図3
