To provide an ink cartridge hardly generating a decrease in a recording quality even when an amount of stored ink decreases.SOLUTION: An ink cartridge comprises an ink storage part for storing ink, and a plurality of flow channels for supplying ink from the ink storage part to the outside of the ink cartridge. The ink cartridge is such that: the plurality of flow channels each have a lower flow channel having a lower opening opened downward in the vertical direction of the ink storage part at the use time of the ink cartridge, and an upper flow channel having an upper opening opened upward in the vertical direction of the ink storage part than the lower flow channel at the use time of the ink cartridge; the resistance of the lower flow channel is different from the resistance of the upper flow channel; and air is not introduced into the ink storage part when supplying ink from the lower flow channel and the upper flow channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】 収容するインクの量が減っても記録品位の低下が発生しにくいインクカートリッジを提供すること。【解決手段】 インクを収容するインク収容部と、前記インク収容部からインクカートリッジの外部にインクを供給する複数の流路を有するインクカートリッジであって、前記複数の流路は、インクカートリッジの使用時における前記インク収容部の鉛直方向下方に開口する下部開口を有する下部流路と、前記下部流路よりもインクカートリッジの使用時における前記インク収容部の鉛直方向上方に開口する上部開口を有する上部流路と、を有し、前記下部流路の抵抗は、前記上部流路の抵抗とは異なる抵抗を有し、前記下部流路及び前記上部流路からインクを供給する際には、前記インク収容部にエアを導入しないことを特徴とするインクカートリッジ。【選択図】 図５
