Summary:To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine in which a winding in a slot is more securely fixed.SOLUTION: The stator includes: a stator core including an annular yoke and a plurality of teeth radially projecting from an inner circumferential surface of the yoke; a stator coil composed of a plurality of windings 20 wound around the teeth; and a foamed resin sheet 22 disposed along an inner wall of a slot 18 which is a space between the teeth. The plurality of windings 20 are arranged with gaps in a radial direction in the slot 18.
