Summary:To provide a thermoelectric generation device with a thermoelectric generation module and a waterproof method for the thermoelectric generation module that can better suppress electrical leak at a lower cost.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric generation device comprises one or more thermoelectric generation modules (42) in which a plurality of thermoelectric transducers (72P, 72N) are arranged between a pair of dielectric plates (71a, 71b). The thermoelectric generation module (42) includes a plurality of electrical wires (51), the covered portion of which extends from within an area where the pair of dielectric plates face each other. Within the area, electrodes (73) are provided to be connected to the electrical wires.
