Summary:To provide an on-vehicle monitoring system that can improve reading accuracy of an RF tag in a vehicle.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle monitor system 1 comprises a first reader units 10A to a third reader unit 10C that radiate a radio wave radiation range 12 in a car compartment 201 with a radio wave, conduct wireless communication with an RF tag 51 held by a monitoring object 50 in the radio wave radiation range 12, using an RFID, and receive monitoring object information based on the RF tag 51. Out of the first reader units 10A to the third reader unit 10C, the second reader unit 10B serving as a slave with respect to the first reader unit 10A is arranged in a radio wave radiation range 12 of the first reader unit 10A, and is configured to start in accordance with the radio wave radiated from the first reader unit 10A.
