Summary:To provide an on-vehicle monitoring device capable of facilitating making a notification of belongings being left behind in a cabin even when its owner leaves the vehicle.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle monitoring device 1 includes a reader section 10, an ECU 20, a detection section 30 and a radio communication section 60. The radio communication section 60 includes a first communication section 61 executing radio communication on the basis of a first radio communication system which establishes radio communication when a mobile terminal 5 exists in a communication area, and a second communication section 62 executing radio communication on the basis of a second radio communication system with a wider communication area than the first radio communication system. The ECU 20, when at least the reader section 10 receives identification information of a previously registered RF tag 51 and the detection section 30 detects an occupant's getting off a vehicle, executes notification processing, and if no radio communication is established between the first communication section 61 and a portable terminal 5, establishes radio communication between the second communication section 62 and the portable terminal 5 for notification processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】車両から離れた場所にいても車室内の荷物の置き忘れを容易に報知することができる車載監視装置を提供する。【解決手段】車載監視装置1は、リーダ部10と、ECU20と、検出部30と、無線通信部60とを備える。無線通信部60は、通信エリア内に携帯端末5があると無線通信を確立する第1無線通信方式に基づいて無線通信を行う第1通信部61と、第1無線通信方式よりも通信エリアが広域な第2無線通信方式に基づいて無線通信を行う第2通信部62とを有する。ECU20は、少なくともリーダ部10が予め登録されたRFタグ51の識別情報を受信し、かつ、検出部30が搭乗者の降車を検出した場合、報知処理を行い、第1通信部61と携帯端末5との間の無線通信が確立されていないと、第2通信部62と携帯端末5との間の無線通信を確立させて報知処理を行う。【選択図】図1
