Summary:To suppress an inclination of an output shaft due to an influence of an axial load generated in a gear engagement part when applying a helical gear as a final gear (output gear) of a deceleration part.SOLUTION: A deceleration part of an in-wheel motor driving device includes an output shaft (38) joined to a rotary wheel (12) of a wheel hub bearing part (11), an output gear (37), a helical gear joined coaxially to the output shaft, and a first bearing (38b) and a second bearing (38a) which support the output shaft rotatably, where rigidity of the second bearing part is higher than rigidity of the first bearing. In the in-wheel motor driving device, when an axial load (Fa) generated in the engagement part of the output gear (37 ) is directed toward one side in a shaft line direction of the output shaft (38) during normal rotation drive, the second bearing (38a) is arranged at a position closer to the one side in the shaft line direction than the output gear (37) and the first bearing (38b) is arranged at a position closer to the other side in the shaft line direction than the output gear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】減速部の最終歯車(出力歯車)にはすば歯車を適用した場合に、歯車噛合い部に生じるアキシアル荷重の影響による出力軸の傾きを抑制すること。【解決手段】インホイールモータ駆動装置の減速部は、車輪ハブ軸受部(11)の回転輪(12)と結合された出力軸(38)と、出力軸と同軸に結合されたはすば歯車である出力歯車(37)と、出力軸を回転自在に支持する第1軸受(38b)および第2軸受(38a)とを含み、第2軸受の剛性は第1軸受の剛性よりも高い。このインホイールモータ駆動装置は、正転駆動時において出力歯車(37)の噛合い部に生じるアキシアル荷重(Fa)の向きが出力軸(38)の軸線方向一方側である場合、出力歯車(37)よりも軸線方向一方側の位置に第2軸受(38a)を配置し、出力歯車よりも軸線方向他方側の位置に第1軸受(38b)を配置したことを特徴とする。【選択図】図6
