Summary:To achieve a crossing gate which can close a crossing in shutting down a power source in the thin crossing gate in which a loaded motor is reduced in the size and power consumption.SOLUTION: An oscillating arm part 30 supported by a crossing rod rotating shaft 20 has a crossing rod 32 on one end side and a weight attaching bar 52 which can oscillate by an electric motor 40 on the other end side. The crossing rod 32 is ascended and descended by controlling to drive the electric motor 40 so that one of first torque for descending the side of the crossing rod 32 and second torque for descending the side of a weight 50 is dominant over the other. In the time of a power failure, the crossing rod 32 and the weight attaching bar 52 become freely rotatable by the respective rotating shafts. When the weight attaching bar 52 completes to descend, resistance torque T3 for suppressing the natural fall of the crossing rod 32 by frictional resistance or the like by making a first projection part 62 and a second projection part 64 abut on each other is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】搭載するモータを小型化乃至低消費電力化することができる薄型の踏切しゃ断機であって、且つ電源しゃ断時でも踏切をしゃ断できる踏切しゃ断機を実現すること。【解決手段】しゃ断かん回転軸20に枢支された揺動腕部30の一端側にしゃ断かん32を有し、他端側に電動モータ40で揺動可能なウェイト取付バー52を有する。しゃ断かん32の側を降下させる第1トルクと、ウェイト50の側を降下させる第2トルクと、の何れかが優勢となるように電動モータ40を駆動制御してしゃ断かん32を昇降する。停電時は、しゃ断かん32とウェイト取付バー52は、それぞれの回転軸で自由回転可能となる。ウェイト取付バー52が降下しきると、第1突起部62と第2突起部64とが当接することによる摩擦抵抗等によってしゃ断かん32の自然降下を抑制する抵抗トルクT3を生じさせる。【選択図】図8
