Summary:To provide a method and apparatus for detecting a nozzle blockage capable of detecting a nozzle blockage in early timing and specifying a nozzle a where a blockage is occurring, even for a two-fluid nozzle, by a simple structure during operation.SOLUTION: A method and apparatus for detecting a nozzle blockage includes a nozzle (e.g. two-fluid nozzle to discharge air and water) 1 arranged with a vibration sensor (e.g. acceleration detector) 3 to measure vibrations of the nozzle (e.g. vibrational acceleration) directly or indirectly and compare a measurement value associated with each nozzle with a threshold established from a predefined relational expression, so that when the measurement value reaches the threshold, a blockage occurrence is determined for the nozzle and a nozzle blockage is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】稼働中、簡易な構造で、二流体ノズルであっても、早期にノズル詰りを検出し、詰りが発生しているノズルを特定できるノズル詰り検出方法及び検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】ノズル(例えば、空気と水を吐出する二流体ノズル)1に振動センサ(例えば、加速度検出器)3を設置して、ノズルの振動(例えば、振動加速度)を直接的又は間接的に測定し、各ノズルに関連付けた測定値と、予め定めた関係式から設定した閾値とを比較し、測定値が閾値に到達するとき、前記ノズルに詰りが発生していると判定し、ノズル詰りを検出する。【選択図】図1
