Summary:To assure properly a labyrinth seal between a seal member and an inner ring irrespective a tolerance of interference and to realize reliability of the seal member.SOLUTION: A roll bearing of this invention has a seal member 26 covering a bearing inner space G. An inner ring 22 includes an outer diameter surface 22f and a step wall surface 22d. The seal member 26 includes a waist part 29 elastically deformable to incline in an axial direction, a first lip 31 where it protrudes from an inner diameter edge of the waist part 29 toward an inside in an axial line direction, an extremity end 31r contacts with the step wall surface 22d along with a fastening margin C to constitute a clearance D1 between it and an outside outer diameter surface 22f, a second lip 32 protruded from an inner diameter edge of the waist part 29 to outside in an axial line direction to constitute a clearance D2 between it and an outer side outer diameter surface 22f, and an inclination angle of the waist part 29 is varied in response to the fastening margin. The fastening margin C has a tolerance and a size of the clearance D1 at a central region of the tolerance is equal to the clearance D2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】締め代の公差に関わらず、シール部材と内輪とのラビリンスシールを適正に確保して、シール部材の信頼性を実現する。【解決手段】本発明の転がり軸受は、軸受内部空間Gを覆うシール部材26を具備し、内輪22は外側外径面外径面22fと段差壁面22dとを含み、シール部材26は軸線方向へ傾倒するように弾性変形可能な腰部29と、腰部29の内径縁から軸線方向内側へ突出し先端31rが締め代Cを伴って段差壁面22dに接触し外側外径面外径面22fとの間で隙間D1を構成する第1リップ31と、腰部29の内径縁から軸線方向外側へ突出し外側外径面外径面22fとの間で隙間D2を構成する第2リップ32とを有し、締め代Cに応じて腰部29の傾倒角度が変化する構造である。締め代Cは公差を有し、公差の中央領域で、隙間D1の大きさが隙間D2の大きさと等しい。【選択図】図3
