Summary:To provide an extrusion composite material having an excellent performance equal to or more than that of the composite material provided according to a powder metallurgy process, and to provide a manufacturing method of the extrusion composite material capable of manufacturing the extrusion composite material at a low cost.SOLUTION: A die 41 is pushed against a matrix lump 20 to rotate the die 41 in such a state that the matrix lump 20 as metal matrix 2 is brought into contact with dispersion-planned material 30 as dispersoid 3. The matrix lump 20 is caused to plastically flow by rotation of the die 41 and the dispersion-planned material 30 is dispersed into the matrix lump 20. Thereafter, the matrix lump 20 is extruded from the die 41 and, thereby, extruded composite material 1 which has the metal matrix 2 and the dispersoid 3 which are dispersed in the metal matrix 2 can be manufactured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】粉末冶金法により得られる複合材と同等以上の優れた性能を有する押出複合材及びこの押出複合材を安価に製造することができる押出複合材の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】金属マトリクス2となるマトリクス塊20と分散質3となる分散予定材30とが接触した状態で、マトリクス塊20にダイス41を押し当ててダイス41を回転させる。ダイス41の回転によってマトリクス塊20を塑性流動させ、分散予定材30をマトリクス塊20中に分散させる。その後、マトリクス塊20をダイス41から押し出すことにより、金属マトリクス2と、金属マトリクス2中に分散した分散質3とを有する押出複合材1を作製することができる。【選択図】図3
