To provide an image processing device and an image processing method, with which it is possible to easily evaluate the characteristics of a medicine dosed to a subject.SOLUTION: An image processing device 10 includes an image reconstruction unit 11, a filter processing unit 12, and an evaluation unit 13. The image reconstruction unit 11 creates a tomographic image after drug dosage, as a processing target image, that has been reconstructed on the basis of a data group collected for the subject after drug dosage by a radiation tomographic device 2.
