Summary:To provide an inter-stand material tension control method for a continuous rolling mill that is able to highly accurately control the tension of a material between stands in a continuous rolling mill, and to provide a manufacturing method for a steel plate, and an inter-stand material tension control device for the continuous rolling mill.SOLUTION: An inter-stand material tension control method for a continuous rolling mill has a tension estimation control step in which on the basis of rolling torque and rolling load in each of stands, the tension of a material between stands is sequentially estimated by a sequential estimation process and, on the basis of the estimated value of the tension of the material between the stands, the tension of the material between the stands is controlled.
