To provide a mobile communication device capable of suppressing wasteful power consumption.SOLUTION: A mobile communication device 10 determines whether communication with a base station apparatus is possible on the basis of positional information of the mobile communication device and performs power control of a wireless communication unit for establishing communication connection with the base station apparatus on the basis of a determination result. Also, the mobile communication device further includes an in-vehicle communication unit (wireless LAN unit 16), provided in a vehicle, for relaying communication between the base station apparatus and another communication device, communicating with other communicators present inside the vehicle.
