Summary:To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition which does not cause viscosity increase in melt-molding, does not cause gelation, does not cause molding failures, and is excellent in heat resistance and durability.SOLUTION: A thermoplastic elastomer composition contains (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer or modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A), a thermoplastic resin or thermoplastic elastomer having a melting point of 200°C or higher (B), and an acid-modified elastomer (C) in an amount of 20 vol.% or more based on the total polymer component amount, in which when the composition is extruded at a piston speed of 5 mm/min and a temperature higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin or thermoplastic elastomer (B) by 20°C in viscosity measurement by a capillary rheometer, viscosity ηat 800 seconds after the start of extrusion is less than 120% of viscosity ηat 200 seconds after the start of extrusion.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】溶融成形時の粘度上昇が起こらず、ゲル化がなく、成形不良が起こらず、かつ耐熱性、耐久性に優れた熱可塑性エラストマー組成物を提供する。【解決手段】エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体または変性エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体(A)、融点が200℃以上の熱可塑性樹脂または熱可塑性エラストマー(B)、および全ポリマー成分の量を基準として20体積%以上の酸変性エラストマー(C)を含む熱可塑性エラストマー組成物であって、キャピラリー・レオメーターによる粘度測定において、ピストンスピード5mm/min、熱可塑性樹脂または熱可塑性エラストマー(B)の融点+20℃の温度で押出したときに、押出し開始から800秒時点での粘度η2が、押出し開始から200秒時点での粘度η1の120%未満であることを特徴とするタイヤ用熱可塑性エラストマー組成物。【選択図】なし
