To provide a roll press machine with a crinkle occurrence prevention device for preventing the occurrence of crinkles, occurred by roll press work in a coating part and an uncoating part of an electrode plate.SOLUTION: A coating part of an electrode plate to which an active material is coated is roll-pressed with a pair of vertical press rolls, and an uncoating part to which no active material is coated is rolled and pressed with a pressure roll having a diameter difference with a crinkle occurrence prevention device, and the occurrence of the crinkle can be prevented without a difference of a metal foil in the coating part and the uncoating part of the electrode palate. The pressure roll is supported through a reinforcement roll, and can extend the uncoating part existed in discontinuity with an even pressing force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】電極板の塗工部と未塗工部でロールプレス作業により生ずる、しわの発生を抑えるしわ発生防止装置を備えたロールプレス機を提供する。【解決手段】活物質が塗工された電極板の塗工部は上下一対のプレスロールでロールプレスされ、活物質が塗工されていない未塗工部はしわ発生防止装置により、径差を有する圧延ロールにより圧延され、電極板の塗工部と未塗工部での金属箔の伸びの差を無くしてしわの発生を抑える。該圧延ロールは補強ロールを介して支持され、不連続にある未塗工部を均一な押圧力で延伸可能とする。【選択図】図１
