Summary:To provide a detection method for a secondary battery, by which accurate inspection based on the battery capacity of the secondary battery can be ensured.SOLUTION: In an inflection point setting step, an inclination ratio is obtained from a ratio of inclinations before and after an inflection candidate point in an SOC voltage relation. An inflection candidate point relating an inclination ratio of 0.8 or smaller or 1.2 or larger is determined as an inflection point. In a partial battery capacity acquisition step, discharge is carried out for a reference SOC section determined as a range from an initial SOC value to an SOC value in a division SOC section. A reference battery capacity in the reference SOC section is obtained by integration of electric current values relating to the discharge. In addition, a partial battery capacity is obtained by multiplying the reference battery capacity by a ratio of an SOC range in the division SOC section to an SOC range in the reference SOC section. In an evaluation step, battery capacity is obtained using the partial battery capacity and a secondary battery is evaluated on the basis of the battery capacity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】二次電池の電池容量に基づく検査を正確に行うことができる二次電池の検査方法を提供すること。【解決手段】変曲点設定工程では,SOC電圧関係における変曲候補点の前後の傾斜の比により傾斜比を求める。また,0.8以下,または,1.2以上を示す傾斜比に係る変曲候補点を変曲点に定める。部分電池容量取得工程では,放電を,開始SOC値から,分割SOC区間内のSOCの値までの範囲に定めた基準SOC区間について行う。また,放電に係る電流値の積算により基準SOC区間における基準電池容量を求め,さらに,部分電池容量を,基準電池容量に,分割SOC区間におけるSOC範囲の,基準SOC区間のSOC範囲に対する比を乗じて求める。評価工程では,部分電池容量を用いて電池容量を求め,その電池容量に基づいて二次電池の評価を行う。【選択図】図2
