Summary:To provide a control device for automatic engine stop which can make compatible both improvement of fuel economy and securement of brake performance while enhancing the merchantability of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The control device for automatic engine stop comprises: a first battery 3; a second battery 4; a second ECU (Electronic Control Unit) 15 stopping an engine 12 by establishment of an engine stop condition, and restarting the engine 12 by the establishment of an engine restart condition; an electric booster 6 generating a brake force of a wheel 2 by boosting an operation amount of a brake pedal 1; and a motor 11 driven by the second battery 4. The second ECU 15 restarts the engine 12 using the motor 11 when the engine restart condition is established, and restarts the engine 12 using a starter 14 when the restart of the engine 12 by the motor 11 is unsuccessful. The second ECU prohibits the restart of the engine 12 by the starter 14 when the brake pedal 1 is in an operation and the restart condition of the engine is established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】車両の商品性を高めつつ燃費改善と制動性能確保とを両立することができるエンジンの自動停止制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】第1バッテリ3と、第2バッテリ4と、エンジン停止条件の成立によってエンジン12を停止させると共にエンジン再始動条件の成立によってエンジン12を再始動させる第2ECU15と、ブレーキペダル1の操作量を倍力して車輪2の制動力を発生させる電動ブースタ6と、第2バッテリ4によって駆動されるモータ11とを備え、第2ECU15は、エンジン再始動条件の成立時にはモータ11によるエンジン12の再始動を実行すると共にモータ11によるエンジン12の再始動が不成功時にはスタータ14によるエンジン12の再始動を実行するものであって、ブレーキペダル1の操作中で且つエンジン再始動条件の成立時、スタータ14によるエンジン12の再始動を禁止している。【選択図】 図1
