To provide a controller of a wastegate valve capable of preventing variation in responsiveness.SOLUTION: A controller of a wastegate valve is configured to, in supercharging pressure control performed by controlling driving force of a wastegate valve so as to attain target supercharging pressure PBT, when required supercharging pressure PBR set according to an operation condition of an engine is larger than predetermined pressure α (S120:NO), set the required supercharging pressure PBR as the target supercharging pressure PBT (S140), and when the required supercharging pressure PBR is equal to or less than the predetermined pressure α (S120:YES), set the predetermined pressure α as the target supercharging pressure PBT.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】応答性のばらつきが生じにくいウェイストゲートバルブの制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】ウェイストゲートバルブの駆動力を目標過給圧ＰＢＴの実現に必要な大きさに制御することで行われる過給圧制御に際して、エンジンの運転状況に応じて設定された要求過給圧ＰＢＲが既定圧力αよりも高いときには（Ｓ１２０：ＮＯ）、要求過給圧ＰＢＲを目標過給圧ＰＢＴの値として設定し（Ｓ１４０）、要求過給圧ＰＢＲが既定圧力α以下のときには（Ｓ１２０：ＹＥＳ）、既定圧力αを目標過給圧ＰＢＴの値として設定する。【選択図】図３
