Summary:To achieve compactification of a metallic collar, while comparatively highly keeping sealability by a resin material between an igniter and the metallic collar in an igniter assembly.SOLUTION: In the igniter assembly having an igniter, a metallic collar arranged around the igniter and a resin joining part joined by a resin material so as to integrate both in a noncontact state of the igniter and the metallic collar, the metallic collar comprises an annular surface formed in an annular shape so as to enclose the periphery of a part of the igniter in a joining state, and the annular surface comprises a joining surface part for contacting with the resin joining part by being covered with the resin joining part.
