Summary:To provide a powder coating apparatus capable of restraining the surface height fluctuation of a fluidized bed.SOLUTION: There is provided a powder coating apparatus 1 by a fluidization immersion method including coating a workpiece by immersing in a fluidized bed in which a powder coating material is fluidized. The apparatus comprises: a fluid container 2 capable of storing the powder coating material; an inner cylinder 6 provided in the fluid container 2 and having an opening capable of inserting the portion of the workpiece to be coated; and a fluidization generating means 5 generating an air current from the lower part of the inner cylinder 6 toward the upper part thereof to form the fluidized bed of the powder coating material inside the inner cylinder 6.
