Summary:To provide a water heater improving stability of hot water temperature on a user side, and also utilized by taking out medium temperature hot water different in temperature from each other without freezing rapture of a medium temperature hot water supply part and/or connected pipes even if the outside air temperature is lowered when draining.SOLUTION: A water heater includes a hot water storage tank 1, and a medium temperature hot water supply part 60. The medium temperature hot water supply part 60 includes: a plurality of opening parts 61a, 61b, 61c through which hot water at medium temperature from different heights inside the hot water storage tank 1; switch parts 63a,,63b changing opening areas of all the opening parts 61a, 61b, 61c; shape memory parts 64a, 64b moving the switch parts 63a, 63b on the basis of the surrounding hot water temperatures; and a taking-out part 62. The water heater flows the hot water having a prescribed temperature by mixing water in all the opening parts 61a, 61b and 61c from the taking-out part 62, and does not completely close the opening part 61c located at a lowest position by the switch parts 63a, 63b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】利用側において湯温の安定性を向上させるとともに、排水時に外気温度が低下しても中温出湯部や接続される配管が凍結破壊することなく、異なる温度の中温水を取り出して利用することができる給湯装置を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の給湯装置は、貯湯槽1と、中温出湯部60と、を備え、中温出湯部60は、貯湯槽1内の異なる高さから中温水の湯水を取り出す複数の開口部61a、61b、61cと、全ての開口部61a、61b、61cの開口面積を変更する切替部63a、63bと、周囲の湯温に基づいて切替部63a、63bを移動させる形状記憶部64a、64bと、取出部62とを有し、全ての開口部61a、61b、61cを混合し、所定温度とした湯水を取出部62から流出させるものであって、最も低い位置にある開口部61cを、切替部63a、63bによって完全に閉塞しないことを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
